My 9 year old son started at MXT in the summer holidays last year having an intensive week course. He loved it so much that we started doing weekly one to one coaching and he's absolutely thriving! He likens himself to an 'Olympic Swimmer' and the coaching has been impeccable. Nick and Chris have done wonders for his confidence and he's now stronger, his breathing is controlled and he looks amazing in the water. I wish I had done it sooner!!! Absolutely recommend 100%

Over the past year, my son has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to MXT swimming school. When he first started, he lacked confidence and couldn’t swim unaided, but the transformation has been incredible. Not only has he gained the skills and techniques he needs in the water, but his confidence has grown so much too.

The teachers are patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about what they do, which has made such a difference to his progress. He’s constantly learning something new and is now a completely different swimmer from the boy who first walked through the doors.

I couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come, and I’m so grateful to the team for helping him get there.

Having moved my child from leisure centre group lessons, with no individual assessment of child learning needs or ability I agree that the service offered by MXT swimming is far, far superior.
The progress and confidence I have seen in my 8yr old over 6 months weekly lessons is exceptional, going from being unable to swim 5m in any stroke to learning freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly and achieving 100m badge in freestyle, though the distance was a by product rather than the aim of the teaching at this school, which is about achieving a high level of technical competence in each stroke, enjoying the process and making sure individual challenges for each child are taken into account.
All 3 of my children now learn to swim here.
