February Half Term Update

WOW! What a week with so much going on with our Intensive swimming lessons at The Towers School and an STA Award in Teaching Swimming at our Storrington Venue its time to get back to normal.

Intensive Lessons

We had a fabulous week meeting many new faces and seeing many old faces and progressing them through 5 days of swimming. It was amazing to see the progress over 5 days, how much every child progressed in confidence, swimming skills and stroke technique. What an absolute pleasure it was.

Qualifications

Tim was over at our Storrington Venue delivering another STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming to 7 amazing learners who all passed. We have received some amazing feedback from the learners, and from the children who participated in the swimming lessons we put on. See what they had to say on our facebook page here.

Community

One of our amazing swimmers has been raising money for Cancer Research UK at the age of 8. Frankie-May has swum 1600m (1mile). To find out more about Frankie-May please see justgiving.com/fundraising/frankie-may-wilson.

• Monday 15th April to Friday 19th
• Monday 22nd April to Friday 26th

Swimming Teacher Courses

We have a number of courses running over easter including:

• Safety Award for Teachers Monday 1st April @ Windlesham House School
• STA Certificate (Full Teachers) Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th April @ Windlesham House School
• STA People with Disabilities Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th April @ our Storrington Venue
