Special Educational Needs (SEN)

MXT have a number of specially trained and qualified SEN swimming teachers. These teachers are trained to teach swimmers with a range of conditions to be safe, to enjoy their time in the water, and to swim. Some SEN's we can teach include: Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Muscular Dystrophy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dysphasia, Dyspraxia and Cerebral Palsy.

Each child is treated as an individual and has their swimming programme adjusted to their ability to allow them to obtain the highest possible skill level.

We will help the children build their water confidence and safety skills to encourage them to enjoy and explore the water.
